Finding Sales Agents in the USA

We are trying to find suitable sales agents in the USA to help us to sell our scanning ion conductance microscopes there. We are looking for agents who regularly visit bio science researchers in universities or industry and are familiar with selling large ticket capital items.
Has anyone any ideas?

They can do a number of things. You can commision an OMIS report and the embassy will contact a number of agents on your behalf to see if your product service is something they can sell. They can also contact Biotech companies and ask them who they use. The nice add on with this as someone at a senior level useally takes a the call from the 'UK embassy'.

Additionally they have a service where they will fund you 50% of a trip to the US to meet with potential clients and or agents to see if what they are offering meets your requirements. There are a few hoops to jump through bit nothing too demanding.
