Have you heard of Response to Redundancy?
Not many people have which is why I am eager to spread the word! HR managers in the East of England regard it as "manna from heaven"as they find it very difficult to let a valued employee go with nothing to offer in the way of a positive alternative.
The R2R scheme offers those whose job is at risk the opportunity to have free one to one careers advice and funding for training on both soft skills to build their self confidence or hard skills to gain a qualification (worth £1000).
I have been able to help several people survive redundancy and move on to better things and would like to help more.
