HI,

The comment of profitable and safe was mainly in reference to equity investment! Though by careful specification of investment policy, the risks to deposit holders can be controlled too.

The profitability of banking has never been higher, nor less risky. As one only has to complete with the established banks who are running away with everyones money and away from low risk debt to 'no risk' debts.
