Linking People from Business and Academia across the Cambridge Region

If you know where the City of Cambridge Brewery is, what Gloucester Old Spots are and who dined on mince and slices of quince, you could be just the sort of person whose team could murder this year’s quiz.

www.camfoodfest.co.uk

CamFoodFest is a not for profit organisation celebrating and exploring local food and drink through various events throughout the year. The quiz is the first event of 2009.

The Quiz questions are set by local food expert Kate Paterson who writes for Local Secrets and the adjudicator is Michelin Star Chef David Chambers and compered by local comedian Rob Coleman.

Each team of 4 will get a bottle of wine and a bowl of nibbles to get them started, and will need to scheme about when to play their Joker to get the best chance of winning the foodie prizes.

The idea is to have some fun, share some wine, enjoy the candle-lit Old Library of Emmanuel College and raise some money.

Cambridge Food & Drink Festival Quiz Night, Friday 20th March, 7.30 for 7.45p.m.

Old Library, Emmanuel College, St Andrew’s St.

Tickets £10 a head, obtainable from the Festival web site www.camfoodfest.co.uk Cash bar.

If you could pass this message on to anyone who you think might be interested, not just in the Quiz but in the festival itself, that would be great.
