B-17 WW2 Bombing raids (to moonlight serenade)
Colour photography of B17... Industrial targets over Schweinfurt and Berlin were fraught with danger from blanket flack and constant fighter attack. Thousands of American airmen stationed around East Anglia, England lost their lives during some of the most daring daylight and night time bombing raids over war torn Europe.
The music of Glenn Miller accompanies this newly re-edited film by Mike Crowe of B17's dropping their deadly cargoes over Germany in 1943.
