Beating Bowel Cancer's TREK PERU * Machu Picchu * Helen Crowe talks to Mark Peters of Star Radio
Hi Amazing People! I'm trekking to Macchu Picchu in May 2009! It will be an amazing way of celebrating being alive, being 50 and being able to give something back to a charity that makes a huge difference to so many bowel cancer patients and their families (like ours). Some of you may already know that my beloved father has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer, and is now beginning his recovery from major surgery. Thats 4 of us now in my family (me & both my brothers too). So yet another reminder that I must take action by raising money for this brilliant charity, and continue raising awareness (so that more people are more aware of the symptoms of the disease).
